About the Project

The is a digital initiative of the Department of Religious Affairs, Government of Uttar Pradesh, designed to provide a unified platform for temple-related information and administrative functions across the state. It simplifies access to authentic religious data and supports efficient temple management through a secure and organized interface.

ITIMS also serves as the core system for managing district-level temple records. Authorized officials and priests can update essential details such as temple location, overview, historical significance, activities, festivals, deity information, priest profiles, visiting hours, connectivity, local arts, and the best time to visit. All submissions follow a secure login and approval workflow, supported by SMS and email alerts.

As part of the Department of Religious Affairs’ integrated digital ecosystem, ITIMS works alongside:

  • Dharmarth Karya Online Services Portals – providing facilities for Kailash Mansarovar and Sindhu Darshan Yatra subsidy applications, pilgrimage registrations, darshan bookings, puja reservations, donation services, and digital queue management.
  • Shri Kashi Vishwanath Temple Portal – offering e-puja booking, live darshan, online donations, guest house reservations, Sugam Darshan services, multipurpose hall bookings, VR darshan, Prasadam services, and other temple-specific digital facilities.

Together, these platforms deliver a connected and comprehensive digital experience for religious administration in Uttar Pradesh. The overall portal offers structured information on temples, festivals, cultural activities, travel routes, and major religious sites, helping citizens and devotees explore the spiritual heritage of Uttar Pradesh with ease.
